I’m Samantha Stallard, a writer, editor, and brand strategist based in New York City. Nice to meet you!

With roots in copywriting, I can write about (almost) anything, but most enjoy covering pop culture, music, politics, relationships, experiential, and the plight of Millennial women. Currently, I’m the lead writer of XP Land — a community for experiential creatives and experience-makers — and editorial director of Liberty & Co., an experiential creative agency. My past experiences include editorial roles at Condé Nast’s in-house agency CNX (née 23 Stories) as well as in tech and media. While writing is my first love, I’m also an esteemed brand strategist, working with XP Land, Condé Nast, Fashion Scholarship Fund, CenturyLink, and other companies to launch large-scale branding initiatives. (Is there anything more exciting than choosing custom fonts? If so, I haven’t found it…)

Biggest flex: Taking home the 2018 Outdoor Grand Prix at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for The Daily Show Presents: The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library. His words will live in infamy, forever (yikes).

After falling in love with journalism writing for my high school newspaper, I earned a BA in Media Studies from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. When I’m not writing, I’m a yoga-obsessed RYT 200-level instructor, a Brooklynite in search of the borough’s best parks with my pitbull, Jasper, and an avid traveler. I also think you should go ahead and start The Artist’s Way.

As seen in…

“Samantha is highly motivated, driven, and articulate… constantly pushing herself to learn anything and everything in order to better her skill set, and better her place of employment. She is an incredibly valuable team member and an eloquent writer who excels at collaboration.”

— Sasha Milner, Executive Director, Liberty & Company

“Samantha is a gifted storyteller with emotional intelligence and marketing know-how. Whether moderating a panel on D2C Brands or releasing a report on Holiday Advertisers, Samantha knows how to connect the dots. And do so with personality. In a world where business content often feels fluffy or dry, she has honed a thoughtful delivery that causes you to lean in, laugh, and leave feeling smarter.”
